Recognition Tip #22: Always use the person’s name.

When acknowledging someone’s positive feedback given to you, remember to thank him or her by name. Once you get over deflecting or giving negative comeback comments and begin saying thank you, start adding the person’s name after the “thanks”. Nothing is sweeter to a person’s ears than hearing their own name.
